Helping Hands Initiative

Miss Bianca's Tutoring Helping Hands Initiative is a subsidised tutoring program that provides partially or fully discounted tutoring rates. 

At Miss Bianca's, we understand that a wide range of circumstances can impact a student's ability to access quality education. Our commitment to the community drives us to extend a helping hand to those who need it most. Education is a vital cornerstone for personal growth and success, and we believe that every child should have the opportunity to thrive academically, regardless of their circumstances. This initiative is our way of ensuring that educational support is accessible to all within our community. 

Each application to our program is carefully assessed on a case-by-case basis to tailor our assistance to the unique needs of each student. It's important to note that while we strive to accommodate as many students as possible, placement within the program is subject to availability, as we aim to maintain the quality of our tutoring services for all.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for our subsidised tutoring program, students must meet the following criteria:

- Students must reside within a 30-kilometre radius of Miss Bianca’s Tutoring.

- Students must be currently enrolled in Kindergarten through Year 12 education programs.

- Students must demonstrate that extenuating circumstances have significantly impacted their education. These circumstances may include but are not limited to:

• Financial Hardship: The student's family is experiencing financial difficulties that hinder their ability to access private tutoring.
• Health Challenges: The student or an immediate family member faces health challenges, including chronic illnesses, mental health issues, or disabilities, that have disrupted their educational progress.
• Foster Care: Students currently in foster care or have been in foster care needing additional support to bridge educational gaps.
• Recent Immigration/Refugee Status: Families who have recently immigrated to Australia or obtained refugee status and face challenges in adapting to the education system.
